We read The 3 Billy Goats Gruff in class today. As a follow up activity, we had to write an email to convince the troll guarding the bridge not to eat us up. Here's what some of us wrote..
Dear Mr Troll,
please let me pass at the bridge because I am very skinny. I am skinny because I don't eat a lot. I am always eating very slowly at home. I don't even have enough energy to carry a baby. If you let me pass at the bridge, I will find a lion for you to eat. But I am very sure that it will eat you up first.

We had lots of fun during Lower Primary Sports Day on the 7 August 2009. Our class' team for the Balancing Act game came in 2nd while our Skillful Weaver's team came in 1st! We'll let our photos do the 'talking' now.
We made pinwheels for Art today before taking a walk outdoors to test them out!
When we returned to class, we were involved in group work. We wrote about our experiences making our pinwheels, trying them out and how some of us had an amusing time trying to make our pinwheels rotate!
We are even more excited about tomorrow when we will be making our weather instruments.

Educational Field Trip - Marina Barrage

We went on a field trip to Marina Barrage today. We returned to school tired but happy at the end of the trip. We will let the photos tell our story while we rest. :) Enjoy!

Daisy's Story of The Butterfly (sent through email)

Daisy emailed this story to Miss M. We are always encouraged to write and email or submit the handwritten piece to Miss M so that she can share it with the class on this blog. This is Daisy's attempt at emailing and writing a story about the butterfly.
One sunny morning,there were eggs on a leaf. A caterpillar came out of one egg. That caterpillar was very beautiful. It was a brown and bright caterpillar. It looked very hungry. First,it ate its own eggshell. Then, it ate the leaf where it was born.That day, it became a pupa and after 3 hours it turned into a butterfly.
